HP Launch Supplies Rewards with the support of sub-distributor

PORT MELBOURNE, VIC -- August 5, 2008 – Photo
and Imaging giant HP yesterday launched their new
rewards program; Supplies Rewards. The program available
to resellers of 100% Genuine HP Supplies
through HP’s authorised distribution channel
is expected to see a strong growth for HP in the un-managed
sector. HP’s Market Development Manager of Supplies,
Mr. Jason Su, further added that “we are excited
about HP Supplies Rewards and Tonnex's involvement
as an authorised sub distributor in this program.
This program provides all resellers of HP supplies,
regardless of their size, the opportunity to not only
engage directly with HP and receive great prizes,
but also to be certain that they are getting genuine
HP
supplies and leverage HP's specially marked supplies
products which enable their customers to participate
in HP promotions”.
As HP’s only authorised sub-distributor, Tonnex
International were quite active in the launch of the
program and are excited about what it has to offer.
“We are very excited to work with HP on implementing
these great offers to our resellers” commented
Tonnex Marketing Manager James Rendell. “We
have seen some amazing results with our own rewards
program throughout the past 18 months so we are expecting
even bigger results given that we can offer HP’s
new program as well” Rendell said.
Tonnex are expecting to see a large uptake from
their customer base and given the fact that over 50
of their
customers had registered within the first few hours
of the launch it is a good indication that this program
will
work well for them. “Our customers have always
enjoyed our rewards program, so naturally we will
expect a great uptake [on Supplies Rewards] so resellers
can earn points on all their HP purchases through
Tonnex on both HP Supplies Rewards and our Reseller
Rewards PLUS program” said Rendell.
The rewards program offers participating Resellers
who are not on HP’s managed channel the ability
to
earn reward points on purchases of genuine HP supplies
through HP’s authorised distributors and sub-distributors.
Resellers can then use these points towards redeeming
products. “There are some great items available
for redemption which represents a significant value,
for example, a reseller who spends $6,000 a month
on HP can redeem up to $600 a month in vouchers. Coupled
with the products available in our rewards program
and the fact that their customers can participate
in HP end-users programs, it really adds up to some
amazing value for resellers” said Rendell.
Tonnex and HP have been working very closely together
since Tonnex’s announcement as an authorised
sub-distributor last year and were obviously happy
with their results together thus far.
