Office National and Office Products Depot Appoint Tonnex International as Preferred Supplier
PORT MELBOURNE, VIC -- August 27, 2008 – Last week saw the official appointment of Tonnex
International as a preferred supplier for the Office National and Office Products Depot groups. When asked
about the appointment, Office National CEO, Andrew Boath, said “Tonnex offered its members a great
range of programs including rebates and rewards schemes as well as access to key vendors such as HP”.
The relationship will provide the office supplies groups with access to 100% Genuine OEM printer &
computer consumables. Boath also commented that sourcing IT hardware from Tonnex was something that
will be discussed in future.
George Kozman, Director of Tonnex International was also excited about this appointment and the
opportunities it creates for his business. “We are excited to be recognised as a preferred supplier for these
groups as it gives us the ability to offer their members some fantastic benefits with the endorsement of
Head Office” said Kozman. When asked about how this appointment will assist Tonnex in their growth,
Kozman added that “building a relationship together will obviously assist us in our growth plans as we have
identified a long time ago that this is the market [office stationery groups] we wanted growth in. However to
discuss such an appointment with these groups without the logistical ability to fully service them is
something we did not want to risk”. However, given the growth and advancements Tonnex have recently
experienced, Kozman now felt that this was the right time for Tonnex to begin such relationships.
Further to Kozman’s comments, Boath added that, “Tonnex now has a national capability, which has improved service and logistics. With 170 outlets, logistics and service levels are important to us as we don’t
have central warehouses ourselves.”
Tonnex also feel that through being able to offer members their Reseller Rewards program alongside HP’s Supplies Rewards program which is on top of their pricing and product offerings, it will see them in good stead to build strong relationships with these groups. “We believe that it is the total product offering which
